Dog of the day-3-25-2020


Name:	Charlie	Age:	Two and a half years old
Gender:	Male	Breed:	Boston Terrier
Home:	New York, USA
Charlie is our Boston Terrier, and is a dog for all seasons! In the spring and Charlie loves trampoline in our backyard and jump around! In the summer he likes to swim in our grandma's pool!! During the winter time he gets scared of the snow and tries to eat it! Charlie is an adorable puppy! He only weighs 27 pounds! He is very hyper and loves people! He is very sassy and loves to show people who's the boss. Charlie is independent! On an everyday basis, he goes outside and runs around, chasing squirrels and birds! He is turning three years old on March 31. We love him!

   Ash is sweet, friendly, and loveable and loves to eat EVERYTHING! He has claimed every stuffed animal in the house and, although he has been swatted a number of times, still thinks that our nine cats love to play with him.  He loves all the things normal dogs love - digging holes, walking the human, and sleeping everywhere. If you don't play with him when he wants, he will chase you until you catch him. He's only been with us for a few months but he is a big part of the family. 

     He loves everyone he meets, and is genuinely confused when someone doesn't love him back. He wins most everyone over- who could resist those hound dog eyes?  We look forward to many adventures - for every day is an adventure with him - with our beagle best boy.

 Dog of the day-3-31-2020

Gender:MaleBreed: Jack Russell Terrier, Rat Terrier mix

   This picture of my puppy was taken back in July when we first got him.  His name is Jackson, and he is a Jack Russel Terrier and Rat Terrier mix.  In this picture he is seven weeks old, but as of April 1 he will be 10 months old.  He is from Greensboro, North Carolina in the United States.   

     Jackson is a great companion for my other dog, Buddy, and a wonderful bundle of energy to have around.  In fact, that's why we treasure this picture - it is one of the few where he is holding still enough to get a clear image of him. After all, he is two kinds of terrier in one package! And besides, who doesn't love a fat little puppy tummy?

   Hi, my name is Cody, I am a two-year-old mutt (that must be a good thing - Mom smiles when she says it!) - they think I am probably a collie/chow/shepherd mix.  I love to chase after my slow-poke buddy Remi, play with socks, sit ON your lap (all 70 lbs of me) and I give the best kisses!  We live in Newnan, Georgia. 

     I found my new house one day while I was wandering around lost and scared. Mom wasn't sure if she could handle another dog. as Remi was such a handful ... but I just turned on the charm and I was in their house the next night!  I am so happy here! I have a huuuge backyard, and a dumb yellow lab to keep me company when Mom and Dad are gone, and TOYS! I wish every stray dog could find such a good home like I did!

 Dog of the day-4-9-2020

Gender:FemaleBreed:Powderpuff Chinese Crested

   Avry is my first non-shedding dog, and the smallest dog I've ever had. I've been interested in Powderpuff Chinese Crested for a while. I like their temperaments and their unique look. I found a good breeder and she had Avry available after she was returned at 8 months old. She has fit in very well with our family. She is extremely sweet and loving, and can handle herself around the rest of the dogs which are larger than her.  

     I say she really belongs to my six-year-old daughter, she loves having a dog more her size to take on walks and to help train her. Avry may be small, but she's happy to go exploring on hikes, she loves to get covered in dirt camping, she can keep up with the bigger dogs quite well, including playing tug with them.    Avry is a fun little dog, we love her.
