Dog of the day-8-13-2019


Name:	Noah	Age:	Five years old
Gender:	Male	Breed:	Yorkshire Terrier, Pomeranian mix
Home:	Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
This is Noah, he is our Yorkie, Pomeranian mix. As you can see, he totally resembles his Yorkie side in coloring, but is fluffier than Yorkies ever are. He love walks and digging, but does not particularly like water. He is a real character, and is always up for chatting - so scolding is always a conversation, not a one-sided lecture. Like I said, even though his name is Noah, he's not a fan of water. He prefers to bark at ducks when they are on the lake, rather than getting his paws wet. He figures to let the Labradors do any water work. He will just supervise from the dock. Noah is sweet, fun, and a real character, and even the cat loves him. Hugs, Angel

Dog of the day-8-14-2019

Gender:MaleBreed:Bichon Frise, Shih Tzu mix

   Dollar is a special little dog. He was a surprise birthday present. Dollar is the baby of the house and loves to be pampered. He likes sleeping with his mum in his double bed and is surrounded by his teddies.  He goes for regular grooming sessions to keep his coat pristine and healthy.  

     Dollar is a pudgy little fella, he loves his food his treats.  He is partial to any kind of meat and spuds. He's not a fan of biscuits, but likes yoghurts.  

     Dollar is very clever, he doesn't realise that he is a dog. He responds back to you when spoken to and loves to sneak a drink of tea. Dollar is super resourceful and smart. He shows this when his feline brothers and sisters are having their feed. Because Dollar is short and about the size of a cat, he sometimes sneaks into where his cat siblings are eating and takes their food.  

     Dollar is very affectionate and friendly with young children.  He is gentle and likes to be doted upon. He shares his home with his other doggie brother called Rocco. He also has six feline brothers and sisters to keep him company, so he is never alone.  Dollar is loved by everyone and makes you feel like a million Dollars.

Dog of the day-8-15-2019

Gender:MaleBreed:Siberian Husky, Border Collie mix
Home: Cork City, Ireland
 
   This is Woody, our Husky, Collie cross. Woody is special as we foster a lot of dogs and Woody takes care of them as soon as the pups arrive. He is very gentle with them. His collie side shows strongly, as he makes sure every pup is accounted for, and herds them back together if he feels they are straying. He starts them on their way to beinng loved and loing dogs.  

     He loves to run, as befits his husky genes, but is just as home in water as anywhere else.  He loves people and is very gentle with children. He loves to bring you his duck when he wants to play, it is so cute! He is a very special boy, and we - and everyone else - love him very much.

   Hello, I am Lilah Jayla - that's my middle name, they just called me Lilah usually. I am told I am a Pit/Husky Mix and I live with a great family. 

     I was born April 27th so that makes me just about four months old. I have my own twin-size bed, but I like sleeping with Mommy. My favorite foods are pizza, popsicles, smores, chicken, carrots, spaghetti and puppy chow.  

     II like to play with yarn, balls, old shoes and plastic water bottles. In my home I have a doggy brother named Duke, two cat sisters named SeaSea and Smokey, three parakeet friends named Isaiah, Madison and Sissy, a horse named Daisy and lots of chickens. Mommy says they are all my friends, so I am not to chew on any of them. But she keeps me supplied with toys that I can chew, I am growing every day, and when I get bigger,  I want to be the best dog my mommy ever had.

Dog of the day-8-17-2019

Name:Francis
Age:Eight years old
Gender:MaleBreed:Boxer
Home: Illinois, USA
 
   Francis is our Boxer and he is eight years young. Some dogs may be old at age eight, but don;t let this picture fool you, he is still energetic and strong as a puppy.  

     Francis is the most amazing, energetic, cuddly and fun dog. He loves to play with his ball so much that he will whine until someone throws it. If that doesn;t get results, he will start nudging the ball around and play with himself. He lost his sister (a black lab named Bo) about two years ago but he has been adjusting the life of being an only dog. He loves his new niece Bambam and would lick her forever if he could.  

     He is not "just a dog," he is a very important, ethusiastic and loved member of the family!
