Name:	Kitty	Age:	Seven years old
Gender:	Female	Breed:	Bichon Frise
Home:	New Jersey, USA
This is Kitty and she is a Bichon Frise. We brought Kitty home for Christmas for my mother, and she ended up thinking the dog was actually a cat in the crate! That's how she got her name, and it makes people smile when they meet her, so it stuck!Kitty is all dog, though.        She is an energetic ball of fur and knows how to sit, roll over and come, but only on her own terms. She's a very stubborn puppy - and yes, she still thinks she is a puppy at age seven. As a Bichon, she does not shed, so gets haircuts from time to time. But she seems to like to stay pretty fluffy, and we hink she's cutest that way!

Dog of the day-8-20-2019

Name: Tyson Age: Two months old Gender: Male Breed:  Yorkshire Terrier/Poodle mix Home: Frankfort, Kentucky, USA      Ruff!  My name is Tyson and I am eight weeks old.  My owner got me when I was just five weeks old from another state.  She named me after Mike Tyson because I like to nibble on ears.      Right now I am getting used to my new home and the Poodle that I share the house with.  I love to cuddle up behind pillows and fall asleep.  I try to keep the snoring down so that the Poodle doesn't bark at me.  I am sitting on top of my dad's fireman helmet in this picture. For some reason they like to pose me with all sorts of different stuff. They think I'm photogenic?      I'm really loving grass right now.  I love to sniff it, rub my nose in it and roll around in it.  Birds are the neatest!  I lay in the grass and creep up on them in hopes of catching one.  No such luck yet...but I'll keep tryin' anyway. Dog of the day-8-21-2019

Name: Bentley Age: One year old Gender: Male Breed: German Shepherd, Border Collie mix Home: Long Island, New York, USA      Bentley was adopted in Morgantown, West Virginia where his owner goes to school. For his first week of having him, he lived in a dorm and then traveled home to New York at the age of six weeks. He is named after the country singer Dierks Bentley, not the car. From the start he is a lot to handle but has a good heart. He knows when you are upset and tries to comfort you. His toys are his pride and joy, loves getting new toys every week. He likes to play ball and play with his two doggy siblings.        He thinks he is a human and loves to get endless neck rubs. Bentley has a big personality and thinks I know what he means when he tries to talk. He is my biggest supporter and helped me get through a lot of rough times. His best friend is the newest member of the family, a kitten. He loves to lick her and play with her before bed. Bentley also loves playing with other dogs and going to the beach. He is such a good dog and is great at cuddling. I am so lucky to have him in my life, he always makes me feel safe.   Hugs,Angel

Dog of the day-8-22-2019

Name:	Harley	Age:	Six months old
Gender:	Female	Breed:	English Shepherd
Home:	Washington state, USA
Harley is my  English Shepherd puppy, she is just six months old. She loves playing with her rubber ball, her bone, and with her sister. She is smart, and already knows how to sit, and lay down. She loves attention, and the outdoors. She isn't too talkative, but she loves defending us.        Harley is very agile and energetic, she can jump up and lay on her crate, which is two times her size! She can also jump over her sister. She usually likes cuddles, and pets. We love her very much.
