Today's Dog-6-9-2019

Name:	Luna	Age:	Nine years old
Gender:	Female	Breed:	Red Heeler, Pug mix
Home:	Madison, Wisconsin, USA
This is Luna (but she also answers to Papuna, Baboona, Tuna). She is now nine years old, and people are amazed she's that old - she's the Dick Clark of the dog world! She is a mix of Red Heeler (also called an Australian Cattle Dog) and Pug, and is truly unique.      This dog is truly a gem. We found her on Petfinder at a rescue North of Madison. She came from Chicago. When I met her at the shelter I called my wife and because the petfinder picture wasn't great. My wife asked, "Would you walk her in the daylight?" I said, "Yes," and the rest has been a very very fun time.      Her cattle dog side likes to herd, while her pug side just wants to love you. She has a pattern she runs in the house when that is very consistent. We have been asked if she is part hyena, since she is all neck. We call this third picture "Luna for President," as she looks like she is posing for her campaign portrait.        Our one-foot tall, rectangle with fur. She's all ours.

Today's Dog-6-10-2019

Name:	Alice	Age:	Six months old
Gender:	Female	Breed:	Pug
Home:	Nebraska, USA
This is my Alice Peach, and she is a pug of course! Alice enjoys taking walks around our block and meeting the other pugs in the neighborhood. Alice also loves being dressed up in costumes. Alice knows how to sit, but won't do "stay" because she loves following us everywhere we go. She is still a baby, though!        Alice is very playful and often gets in playful fights with our cats. Alice knows how to sit and and spin in circles. She loves to be dressed up as a hula girl. She enjoys going to our local pet store and meeting other dogs there. She is our first pug. We are very happy to have her and she won't sleep in her doggybed  - she will only sleep if she is in one of our beds. Alice likes to go for rides in our car and will sprint up to the front door when we ask her if she wants to go for a ride. She is the most loyal dog I have ever met.

Today's Dog-6-11-2019

Name:	Nikki	Age:	Seven years old
Gender:	Male	Breed:	Wire-Haired Fox Terrier
Home:	St. Louis, Missouri, USA
This is Nikki. He's a Wire-Haired Fox Terrier who is seven years old. He lives in St. Louis, Missouri and as you can see loves the pool and his raft. Nikki is a one of a kind that is for sure. Although he is the fourth wire-haired terrier of the family, he definately has a mind of his own. He can be the sweetest of sweet and also very demanding at the same time.        We got him after our third wire-hair died, and he has been nothing short of greatness. He loves to go for walks, and he loves frosty paws and bones, the more the merrier he says!        As you may or may not know, the breed of wire-haired terriers are very energetic to say the least. If you've owned one, you can relate. They are balls of energy from birth till death and Nikki is a just a little fireball. He'll get in his moods where he 'steals' everything in the house from socks to tissues from the waste basket! He loves to play with his 'babies' and loves tug-of-war, although sometimes has a problem with giving it to the person he's playing with! haha He seems to never tire, but he is also the best snuggler. He will sit for hours with me on the recliner or couch basically on top of me. He is definately a little lover.        I don't know what life would be without Nikki, he is a part of the family and always will be.

Today's Dog-6-12-2019

Name:	Paco	Age:	Twelve years old

Woof Woof Hi: I'm Paco. I hope you like my photo.  This was my Halloween costume last year.  Cute, huh?  The drawing came out of the book Mommy wrote about my stepbrother Bacci Bogie.      This next photo is me with my hooman family after we took a hike at the lake.  We saw a fox and he wanted to eat me for lunch. And the last photo is me playing in the snow.      My name is Paco Flacco and I was born in Rifle, Colorado on March 17, 2007.  When I was 3 months old, Mommy adopted me and I moved to Basalt, Colorado.  I am a mountain boy.  Mommy has this weird idea that Bacci Bogie, who died the day I was born within one hour of each other, is inside of me.  Oh well, she's entitled to her opinion.  There are a few qualities that make me unique.  First, I am a very funny boy.  In fact, one of my nicknames is "Goofy".  Second, I am bilingual as Paquito is another nickname that the neighborhood children call me.  I am very affectionate and everyone seems to love me.  And last, I am a strong hiker for a nine pounder.      I also have a job as Public Relations Director for the book, My Name Is Bacci Bogie: Frequent Flyer Extraordinaire.
