Casey Patrick is a giant economy-sized Keeshond.  At 60 pounds and 30 inches in height, he's literally head and shoulders above the Keeshond crowd.  He's AKC registered and has all the usual Keeshond traits - there's just more of him to love!  We rescued him when he was six months old.  His original owner had died two months previously and he had been passed around to several people before ending up with a lady who didn't want him, but cared enough to find him a decent home.  He was filthy, wormy and had NO manners.  He had also lost half of his left ear.  We'll never know that story.

     Our female Keeshond begged us to take him back from whence he came until he settled down a little, but obedience training, time and a lot of love helped him settle down and assume his rightful place as head of the house, as this picture indicates.  At age two and a half, Casey Patrick is the light of our lives.
