Dog of the Day-8-9-2019-New Thread


Name:	Cooper	Age:	One year old

Home:	Johnstown, Pennsylvania, USA
This is Cooper. He is a one-year-old mixed breed adopted from the local shelter in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Cooper is a very smart boy and has been easy to train. His favorite past times includes walks on the nature trail, playing frisbee and chewing a bone. He went to the beach for the first time in July and just loved swimming in the ocean. He is very attracted to children and loves to play. He continues to mourn the loss of his big brother Toby, an eleven-year-old black retriever, who died due to chronic health problems just last month. But he makes us smile just by being his unique self. Hugs, Angel

   Nina is my black beauty at two years old, and she is a purebred German Shepherd. Jerry Lee is seven years old, and is an extra fluffy black and tan German Shepherd male. We live in near Sevenoaks, in Kent, UK. 

     My two dogs are very special because they are in love with each other and they are comical to watch when they play together. Also Jerry Lee tells Nina off when she wanders off to far. He lets her know he's still top dog and number one in no uncertain terms! They are such smart dogs, and play and sometimes even seem to be seeing who can herd who when they are out in fields. I love them both very much, even if I no longer get to sit on the divan! No room, obviously.

Age:Three and a half months old
Gender:FemaleBreed: Golden Retriever

   Our pet is special because she is a three-legged dog.  She was born to a litter of puppies who were meant to be working dogs. Her brothers and sisters will be trained to be Service Dogs at the Canine Assistants facility here in Atlanta. 

     Faith is unable to be a service dog due to her disability, therefore we were able to adopt her into our home.  We are Faith's service humans.  She has a 1 1/2 year old Labrador Retriever older sister, Lucy, whom she adores and who adores her. She is growing and learning every day, and we love her.

 Dog of the Day-8-12-2019

Age:Fivemonths old
Gender:FemaleBreed: Pomeranian, Chihuahua mix
Home: San Diego, California, USA
 
   Callie is a five-month-old what we think to be a Pomeranian, Chihuahua mix. We found her at the local animal shelter at 4wks old in the cat kennels, hence she still thinks she's a cat. Very playful, loves to play with her box of toys, chase the ball, and her bunny housemate, Peaches.  She loves to cuddle on your lap and is the perfect travel companion, when you grab your keys she jumps into her travel bag and is ready to go. 

     She is a clever puppy, loves her toothbrush and brushes her own teeth.  She loves to talk back to you with her own set of barks and growls. She is such a cute little character and we would love to know what she really is. If anyone has a clue as to what Callie is we'd love to hear from you.
